There are few wedding venues in Lawrence, KS that have gardens. Rob at The Victoria Veranda Country Inn focuses much of his time on making sure their property is set up beautifully for a garden wedding. He plants multiple plants, trees, flowers, etc for awesome photo backdrops.
Rob and Beverly also built their home to be a bed and breakfast that will hold multiple guests if you choose. They also have a large air conditioned barn on the property for an indoor ceremony in case of bad weather (yay for not having to rent a tent) and hosts the reception portion of the evening. Parking is super easy as well and on the property.
If you’re looking for a quieter location to have a garden wedding at, The Victoria Veranda Country Inn would be a great option. It’s a few miles north of Lawrence, KS off the highway. Very easy for your guests to find and have a short drive back to their hotel.
Because of these wonderful things Will and Katie decided to have their wedding at this venue. Their wedding was in later April right when the flowers were starting to bloom and sunsets are a bit later in the evening. We had so much fun celebrating these two 🙂
Katie wanted to surprise her mom with a first look. Katie came out of the door and we all started crying once we saw her mom’s reaction.
