Being a wedding photographer sometimes I am approached about proposal photos. I have to tell you surprise proposal photos are some of the most exciting images to take. We can disguise it anyway you’d like. I’ve planned it as a ‘couple’s shoot’ (see below) or hidden behind huge pillars. If I need to wear paint on my face, I’m happy to do that too. Having such a special moment like that on camera is so precious and invaluable.
Now on to my session below. Melissa and I have known each other for quite a few years so when she messaged me asking about photos I couldn’t have been more excited!! We decided on the beautiful Fleming Park near Lees Summit, MO. We kept calling the session a couple’s photo session because she wasn’t engaged yet and little did she know she was about to be 🙂 Zach called me a few days before the shoot to let me know he was going to propose (good man right there). Later I found out he had quite a few things planned for Melissa. He had wine glasses made, brought wine and had dinner plans with their family later after the shoot.
I could not have been more excited for the both of you nor more honored to be apart of such a special memory. Thank you both so much for choosing me 🙂
