Engagement photos with pets can sometimes be a bit tricky. Bringing an extra person to help wrangle them is a great idea. When the animals are done, they’re done. Having someone extra that can take them home or sit with them with the air conditioning on is very helpful.
These two decided to bring their new pup and kitty cat to the session. Puppies have loads of energy and she did not disappoint. We started at Clinton Lake in Lawrence, KS in hopes it would be a little quieter for the animals and keep them less distracted. It worked pretty well and I probably had too much fun playing with the puppy. I saved a couple of the funny photos because well, it still makes me giggle seeing the outtakes.
After the animals were done we headed over to KU’s campus and take photos at Allen Fieldhouse. Rock Chalk!!
She has the sweetest personality. She was not shy in making sure we knew she was over photos and wanted to play instead.
