Jacob and Katie were married in 28 Event Space in Kansas City, MO. They held their ceremony and reception there. It was a very easy room flip as 28 Event Space did a great job of having everything prepped ready to go. They also hung up gold curtains to separate the space well and make the ceremony feel very intimate. A 28 Event Space wedding is one that I always enjoy. It’s beautiful inside and there are awesome areas outside to take photos too.
Katie wore the most stunning veil I’ve seen. Hopefully I’m remembering the correct details about it. The veil she wore was also her mother’s that she wore on her wedding day and it’s been passed down for a few generations. What a special way to remember her mother by and those matriarch’s before her.
For their wedding my second photographer and I were there for 4 hours. In case you were wondering what that looks like in wedding timelines, it’s allows for ceremony coverage, family formals, wedding party formals combined with couple’s photos during and then partly into the reception. Since they added on a second photographer it really helped me be in two places at once and we were able to capture more photos of their guests and more candid photos in general.
