Heath and Caitlin were the very first wedding for The Jayhawk Club in 2017. As a Lawrence, KS wedding photographer I was extremely excited to see this new venue in action. They were still under construction at the time but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time. They were married out on the golf course then their reception was inside the Jayhawk clubhouse where we were able to watch the sunset thru their gorgeous surrounding windows. Baby Jay even stopped by for a quick visit as well. Always love seeing the Jayhawk at wedding receptions.
Being their wedding photographer was and is a true honor. They have such a great group of friends and family. From the moment we met it was clear they both were going to be together for a very long time. Heath & Caitlin have true unconditional love for each other with some spunky personalities to boot.
For their first look we went down to the bridge on the golf course so their first moment seeing each other was very intimate and romantic.
These girls were so much fun to be around and clearly know how to have fun.
