Carolyn and Jerret were on the hunt for a Lawrence Wedding Photographer when they located yours truly. We met for brunch at one of my favorite restaurants in town, The Roost– seriously next time you’re in Lawrence go eat here, and enjoyed some very spicy bloody mary’s. Well Jerret did anyways, I’m a wimp when it comes to spicy foods.
We hit it off immediately and it was not hard to see why. They both are funny, kind, and enjoy a good drink. Can’t go wrong with any of that. They also have animals and Carolyn is a big supporter of rescuing all the puppies. Girl after my own heart for sure.
So it didn’t surprise me they held their wedding at Arterra Event Gallery. It’s nestled inside Lawrence, KS alongside a beautiful golf course owned by The Jayhawk Club. Their ceremony overlooked a section of the course and later we were able to take some wedding photos on the golf course.
Arterra Event Gallery is an event venue that is the total package. They provided the catering, DJ services, ceremony location and reception location.
Carolyn and Jerret rented a condo in downtown Lawrence, KS to get ready and they had their first official look right outside.
