Nick and Nicole were married in the very beautiful The Kelly Gallery Gardens. It’s a private location tucked away at the very end of Antioch road in Overland Park, KS. Kelly has put her heart and soul into her gardens and it’s evident right when you pull into the driveway. You’re greeted by ducks floating on the pond, flowers blooming around the gazebo and a stunning carriage house for the ladies to get ready.
We started our day with ladies getting ready in the carriage house and the men were at the main house later in the day to finish getting their suits and ties on. Nick and Nicole’s friends were nothing but kind, generous and so much fun to be around. I felt like part of the group and for that I thank you both and your friends.
After a few fun photos they had a wonderful ceremony in front of the gazebo while the sun would make an appearance from behind the clouds every few moments. From there we ate wonderful food, Nick and Nicole had a fun bar set up where everyone wrote their names or nick names on their jars for the evening. 🙂 The mom’s madehomemade cheesecakes!! With lots of choices for toppings. I ate one or 3 (just kidding, only one but I wanted three!) … they were amazing!! 🙂
To end the evening Nick and Nicole’s friends proved their dancing skills alright. This group knows how to have a great time and show off some awesome dance moves! 🙂
The following vendors helped make their day super special and run very smooth 🙂
Nicole’s stunning dress is from a wonderful studio here in Lawrence called J Lynn Bridal. You will not be disappointed by checking out her bridal shop. Minh from Hitched helped keep the day moving smoothly and her team set up some of the stunning decorations you’ll see from the main eating area. BB’s Lawnside BBQ set up a wonderful dinner for everyone that was complete with smoked meats, coleslaw and potato salad. YUM!! Chris with KC DJ Unlimited had everyone dancing their socks off playing some wonderful music that everyone enjoyed.
